Hello everyone,

Have got a problem with my 2012 C-Max. It is front-wheel drive (as probably all C-maxes). Apparently something went wrong with the rear brakes, as they keep locking up when I hit the brake pedal. This weekend I am planning to take my vehicle to teh shop so that they could diagnose the problem. But wanted to check with you guys, maybe someone here also had something similar... and how did you fix it?

Any help is appreciated! Thanx in advance, cheers!

Took it to the shop on Saturday, and had it diagnosed. They said that the problem was about the brake proprtioning valve. It is supposed to properly distribute the braking pressure, but looks like now it won't work... There is only one way out - to get it replaced. So will go ahead and order a new one (https://www.carid.com/brake-proportioning-valves/)
